Switzerland's Chiara Tamburlini won the Joburg Ladies Open, the eighth event of the Ladies European Tour season, taking home her maiden title on the European Tour as well as her share of the $319,620 purse.

Tamburlini's paycheck for winning the Joburg Ladies Open was $47,943. Seven players won more than $10,000.

Chiara Tamburlini led the Joburg Ladies Open with a score of 17 under, seven strokes ahead of the runner-up. Her first victory on the Ladies European Tour came in just her seventh start. She had previously finished in three top-10s.
