Jihin Radzuan has no qualms about playing second fiddle to ONE atomweight MMA world champion Stamp Fairtex at their training base in Pattaya, Thailand.
If anything, the Malaysian athlete believes she's been on a path of improvement since permanently making Fairtex Training Center her home, something that the reigning ONE atomweight MMA world champion seems to recognize too, per the 'Shadow Cat.'
The No.5-ranked contender had this to say to Sportskeeda MMA via text earlier this week:
"I came from an MMA striking-based gym. So, when it comes to Muay Thai in Fairtex, the striking is far more complex. Since coming here, I've had to do everything, Thai clinching, combinations, etc."
"And yeah, Stamp has told me that I've gotten better at that."
While she's still very much into her early days at the famed dojo in Pattaya, her recent performances show that her spell there has been a step in the right direction.
Apart from losing to Chihiro Sawada this past March, Jihin earned her first submission win in almost five years when she went toe-to-toe with Jenelyn Olsim at ONE Friday Fights 35.
Though her grappling overcame the Filipina warrior, her work on the feet against the Lions Nation MMA affiliate before the highlight-reel moment proved to be of utmost importance.

While she waits for her second fight of 2024, the Thailand-based Malaysian will lend a helping hand to Stamp Fairtex as she opens her account this year against a familiar foe.
The Thai striking specialist puts her atomweight MMA world title on the line against former teammate Denice Zamboanga in the main event of ONE 167 inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 7.
Thus far, 'Shadow Cat' has helped the divisional queen pick up successive knockouts on the global stage against Alyse Anderson and Ham Seo Hee.
If all goes well, a third back-to-back highlight-reel finish could be on the cards.
