Nick Chubb has been working hard the last few months after suffering a devastating knee injury last season. The running back's comeback this season was celebrated by his Cleveland Browns teammate, wide receiver Amari Cooper.

Chubb shared a short video on his Instagram story of a new pendant that he was gifted by Cooper. The front of the pendant is the iconic Batman logo encrusted in diamonds, a nod to Chubb's nickname.

The back of the pendant read "Batman Returns," a play on the iconic movie and the running back's return to the field this upcoming season.

"The great @amaricooper blessed me."

Nick Chubb restructures contract ahead of return from knee injury

Nick Chubb has one season remaining on his contract with the Cleveland Browns. After suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 2 of the 2023 NFL season, there were questions as to whether the Cleveland Browns would retain or release the running back this offseason.

The restructure allows the running back to remain on the roster for the 2024 NFL season. It's also less risky for the Cleveland Browns as they are now only responsible for paying him a base salary of $2.275 million.

The Browns loaded the new contract with incentives that will allow him to make up to $12.2 million, which was the original amount of his contract.

The 28-year-old running back has failed to pass a physical following his knee injury last season. Cleveland could have released the running back, but instead, they will save money and allow him to complete his recuperation, with the possibility of recouping his whole contract in incentives.

The salary cap space that the Browns saved in Chubb's restructured contract will also allow the team more freedom in free-agent signings
