Antonio Brown is back in the headlines, and this time again, it’s not for football. The former Steelers wide receiver fired off a tweet aimed directly at California Governor Gavin Newsom.
“I had sex wit ur wife Gavin...,” the post read.

Brown’s remark came after Newsom announced on X that California is suing the Trump Administration. The lawsuit challenges Trump’s executive order to deploy the National Guard in Los Angeles amid escalating immigration protests, an order Newsom claims to be unconstitutional and authoritarian. He posted on X:

"NEW: We are suing Donald Trump.
"This is a manufactured crisis. He is creating fear and terror to take over a state militia and violate the U.S. Constitution.
"The illegal order he signed could allow him to send the military into ANY STATE HE WISHES.
"Every governor -- red or blue -- should reject this outrageous overreach..."
Tensions between Trump and Newsom are boiling over, and Brown somehow decided to inject himself into the firestorm. Newsom, who described a prior phone call with Trump as “cordial,” hasn’t responded to Brown’s statement.
Antonio Brown drags himself in between Stefon Diggs - Cardi B drama
Brown is quite active on social media lately and is back doing what he does best, stirring chaos. The former All-Pro wide receiver inserted himself into the middle of the Stefon Diggs–Cardi B drama three days ago.
Brown first aimed at Diggs with a Madden meme that showed him partying on a yacht. He didn’t stop there. On Thursday, AB reposted a photo of Diggs standing next to Offset—Cardi B’s ex-husband—with a quote tweet that read:
“be the ni**a rt next to you plotting on ya bish……”
Former NFL MVP Cam Newton also joined the Diggs-Cardi B drama. However, unlike Brown, Newton declared Diggs a clear “upgrade” over Offset, saying:
“He’s got some money, but not Stefon money.” [07:26]
Newton said that men naturally size up the guy their ex ends up with. Diggs, recovered from an ACL tear that ended his 2024 season, was back on the field, running routes at Patriots OTAs.
