Philadelphia Eagles fans are hoping the team will sign star cornerback Jaire Alexander.

The Green Bay Packers released Alexander on June 9 amid a contract dispute. With Alexander now on the market, several teams will be interested, and Eagles fans are hoping Howie Roseman lands him to bolster their secondary.

"Howie Roseman you know what to do. Come back home jai," a fan wrote.

"Howie Reaper Roseman has the potential to do something great," a fan wrote.

Alexander would bolster the Eagles' secondary and even further cement Philadelphia's defense.

"Eagles all day. This is exactly what they need," a fan added.
"Howie sneak in and do one of those wonderful 1 year deals again," a fan wrote.

Alexander would compete for a starting job but could also serve as a backup and add more depth to the Eagles' secondary.

"Eagle," a fan added.
"WELCOME TO PHILLY," a fan wrote.

Alexander had two years left on a four-year, $84-million extension he signed in 2022. He and the Packers were in discussions on a revised contract, but after they couldn't agree, Green Bay opted to move on from him.

Alexander is a two-time Pro Bowler and was a first-round pick in 2018 by Green Bay. Last season, he recorded 16 tackles and 2 interceptions.

Packers GM opened up on Jaire Alexander's future

Jaire Alexander dealt with injuries last season, which has been an issue for him in his career.

Alexander is a lockdown corner when he's healthy, but he has dealt with injuries. After the season ended, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst opened up on the future of Alexander and admitted it was going to be a conversation.

"We'll work through that. Certainly, we can (afford him if they want to). I know it's been really frustrating for not only him as a player, but us as a club," Gutekunst said, via A to Z Sports. "When you have a player that has done what he's done for us in the past, and then not being able to get him on the field consistently, that's tough. It's tough on the player, it's tough on the organization."

Gutenkunst says Alexander is one of the best corners in the NFL when he's healthy, but his health has been an issue, which made it such a hard discussion.

Alexander finished his Packers tenure with 12 interceptions in 78 games.
