The Cincinnati Bengals currently compete in the AFC North Division of the NFL. The team has been competing in the NFL since 1968 although planning for the team had started three years prior to that. One of the most successful Cleveland Browns head coaches, Paul Brown established the team in 1967 and joined the American Football League. They played in the AFC post the 1970 merger. The Cincinnati Bengals almost won their first Super Bowl in 2022 when they faced the Los Angeles Rams in a close match-up. The Bengals do not have a very successful NFL track record in the contemporary era but budding quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase have been turning the tides in favor of the team. The Bengals are currently owned by Paul Brown’s son, Mike Brown. The franchise is currently worth $3 billion as per Forbes.

The Bengals boast one of the strongest rosters in the NFL currently. Quarterback Joe Burrow has been phenomenal in the past season and has even drawn comparisons to the legendary Joe Montana. Wide Receiver Ja'Marr Chase has also been a major part of the Bengals' squad and has rose to be one of the top players in the league. Although he was limited to 12 games because of injuries last season, he still caught 87 passes with nine touchdowns making him a lethal part of the Bengals' attacking unit. DE Trey Hendrickson is another important player on the roster adding reliability to the defense along defensive tackle DJ Reader.
Pass rusher Myles Murphy was the first round pick for the Bengals this season and the former five star recruit will be looking to make an impact in his first NFL season. Other rookies like cornerback DJ Turner and safety Jordan Battle will also be looking to make it into the rotation this upcoming season.
