For die-hard NFL fanatics, the league has ensured that there is at least some action throughout the week with its Monday Night and Thursday Night Prime Time football matches. These games take place throughout the 18-week NFL regular season. MNF has been a huge success for the NFL and for its broadcasting partners as ratings have always been high.

The primary Monday nightfootball tonight TV Channel rights are with ESPN, which has been broadcasting these games since 2006. Previously, MNF games were broadcast by ESPN’s sister company, ABC. As both channels are owned by The Walt Disney Company, some games are simulcast on ABC even though most of the games remain solely with ESPN.
