Ex-Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown created headlines on Monday when he made a jab at U.S. Senator Cory Booker. This was in response to a viral AI-generated image of the politician.

The incident happened when Brown responded to a Twitter user's post. The original tweet featured an AI-generated image showing Booker wearing pink clothing in front of the White House.

In response to the viral AI image, Brown wrote a caption pointing out Booker’s appearance in the image.

"This n***a look like the gay Vin Diesel," wrote Antonio Brown.

The post came just one day after renewed speculation surfaced about a potential NFL comeback for Brown. A report from MLFootball - cited by Athlon Sports on Thursday - claimed that veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers had contacted Brown this offseason to gauge his interest in returning to professional football.

Though Antonio Brown has been out of the league since his exit from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021, the rumor mill ignited quickly.

Neither the Pittsburgh Steelers nor Rodgers has publicly confirmed the rumors and the speculation is unsubstantiated.

The Steelers also dealt wide receiver George Pickens in the offseason, allegedly as a result of off-field personality issues. Brown also has a history of run-ins with the law and inflammatory social media activity.

Antonio Brown also gained attention in 2024 as an advocate for Donald Trump during the presidential election season. He showed up at a campaign rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

“No matter what the media threw at him… he continues to push forward and keep getting back up,” Antonio Brown said of Trump at the rally.

Senator Cory Booker, on the other hand, took a decidedly different route following his playing career. The All-American defensive back at Stanford from 1987 through 1991, Booker continued to study with a Rhodes Scholarship and attend Yale Law School. He was a member of the 1986 USA Today All-USA high school team alongside eventual NFL stars such as Emmitt Smith and Ricky Watters.
