#1 Christopher Nowinski

Nowinski is familiar to the WWE fans as the youngest WWE hardcore Champion. Nowinski is gifted with phenomenal intellectual abilities. He graduated with a BA in Sociology from the prestigious ‘Harvard University’.

He is also the first Harvard alumnus in WWE. Add to that, Nowinski was also a renowned American writer and the executive director of Sports Legacy Institute. His famous book “Head Games: Football's Concussion Crisis” addressed the effects of head trauma among athletes and it also became a documentary.

#2 David Otunga

The former Tag team champion and member of Nexus, David Otunga was exceptionally skilled outside the WWE ring. Otunga graduated from “Larkin High School” with a perfect 4 GPA. This was a phenomenal achievement. He got a degree in Psychology from the “University of Illinois”.

He later attended the ‘Harvard Law School’ and passed the bar exam as well. He has been working as a legal advisor for WWE since 2011. He worked as a full time trial lawyer in Boston during his 3rd year in ‘Harvard Law School’.

#3 Wade Barrett

The former Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett had an impressive academic profile. He earned a degree in ‘Marine Biology’ from the ‘University of Liverpool’. He also worked in a Science laboratory and as a recruitment consultant before his WWE debut.

Barrett travelled throughout Europe and fought at various places. He became a champion Bare-Knuckle boxer. The five-time Intercontinental champion also tested his luck as an actor. Barrett was brilliant with the Nexus during the start of his career and is an acclaimed star today in the roster.

#4 John Cena

The 15-time World Champion John Cena had an interesting educational background. Cena graduated from ‘Cushing Academy’ and also has a degree in ‘Exercise Physiology’ from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Cena later pursued a career in body-building and later on eventually became one of the biggest icons of WWE. Don’t be stunned! Cena worked as a driver for a limousine company during the start of his career. Cena was also an acclaimed actor and a player in his college football team.

#5 Sheamus

The former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus was good both in and out of the WWE ring. He gained a National Diploma from ‘National College of Ireland’. He is also very good at Rugby and Football. Sheamus worked as an IT technician during the start of his career. Sheamus also worked as security for a nightclub, which led to him to occasionally working as a bodyguard for Bono and Larry Mullen, Jr. of U2, as well as Denise van Outen.

#6 Mick Foley

The hardcore legend Mick Foley’s career was made during his university life. He attended the ‘State University of New York at Cortland’ and during this time he went to ‘Madison Square Garden’ to watch his favourite wrestler Jimmy Snuka in action. He was enthralled by the atmosphere there and decided to pursue a career in WWE. The rest is history. Foley is also an author, comedian, color commentator, actor, and voice actor. He is famous for his three faces- Cactus Jack, Dude Love and Mankind.

#7 Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle has accomplished a lot of things in his career. He was a winner of the Olympic gold with a broken neck. He was a multiple time World Champion in WWE. Angle was impressive on the educational front too. Angle has a degree in Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania where he started wrestling at an amateur level. He is a two-time National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I champion. Angle is the only wrestler in history to be a Triple Crown winner in both WWE and TNA

#8 Kane

The big ‘Red Machine’ Kane also had the luxury of good university education. He has a Bachelors Degree in English from Northeast Missouri State University. Kane was also good at Football and Basketball during his college days. Kane says his degree is still useful, even in his career as a professional wrestler. He once said,“We plan something and end up doing something entirely different. At this point, when I turn back and think, I don’t know if I would have come this far if I had taken up something else [other than wrestling].”

#9 Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho was famous for his versatility. Jericho has cited Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and Shawn Michaels as inspirations for his becoming a wrestler. Jericho did an ‘Associates Degree in Journalism’. He also took a course in creative communication at ‘Red River Community College’ in Winnipeg. “I learned a lot of invaluable skills that really helped me along for when I started my wrestling career,” says Jericho. In addition to Wrestling, Jericho was also a musician, media personality, actor, author, and businessman.

#10 The Rock

Dwayne Johnson, popularly known as ‘The Rock’ is a multi-talented personality. He was not only a professional wrestler but also an acclaimed actor and producer. The Rock was brilliant both in and outside the ring. He graduated from ‘Miami University’ with a Bachelor of General Studies in Criminology and Physiology. Rock is widely famous as Luke Hobbs in ‘The Fast and the Furious’ franchise. He was also a champion football player during his college days and undoubtedly the largest icon in the WWE business.
