#5 Rosa Mendes being a laughing stock backstage

Divas are always known for taking a back seat in the male dominated business of professional wrestling and something that suggested the same came up this week with Rosa Mendes as the protagonist.

There are rumors saying Rosa is nothing more than a laughing stock in the backstage as many feel that she is useless to the company. Rosa is accused of not knowing to wrestle or talk and is tagged lucky for not being released during the budget cuts.

Interesting fact however in this is how divas like Eva Marie is considered precious while Rosa is receiving such a treatment.

If this rumor turns out to be true, it’s going to adversely affect the career of Rosa and even the entire divas division on the longer run.

#4 Prince Devitt, Kenta and Kevin Steen to form a stable

WWE snatched up three of the biggest independent superstars over the last couple of weeks and added them to NXT.

There are a lot of concerns about how the creative team would book these talented names but the news out in the block is that WWE is planning a stable for the trio. All three are not from Untied States and a faction consisting of International superstars is what everyone is looking for.

Shield breaking up and Wyatt Family running cold has left the company without many credible stables in their roster and apparently this would be their move to solve that.

A pack of extremely talented wrestler is sure to take the fans by storm and WWE could also hide Kenta’s language flaws by having him along with Steen.

#3 Batista returning for Night of Champions

When Batista made his return before Royal Rumble, the fans weren’t that high on the Animal due to the ring rust and part –time contract that he carried. This made him one of the most hated superstars both in and outside the ring on the year as a whole.

However, Batista might be seen as a whole different thing by the WWE fans after his Guardians of Galaxy went on to become one of the biggest box office successes of the year.

He has also bagged new roles for some Hollywood films but still has a contract with the WWE. This means that he will be returning at one point or the other and the stage seems to be Night of Champions.

WWE is planning to push Night of Champions like WrestleMania or SummerSlam which means that Batista’s return would be a big boost to draw the main stream attention that he has now.

#2 The racist culture in the company

After the bizarre rumor of Rosa Mendes, another thing which grabbed the headlines was the alleged racist culture that existed in the WWE backstage.

Many of the leading wrestling website reported that the backstage conditions were having a racist aura under Vince McMahon who even has a racially offensive name for his private jet. There were also allegations on how McMahon tried to teach black wrestler to be even blacker.

Along with this all of the WWE writers expect Dave Kapoor being white added fuel. And as far as Kapoor is concerned, he has the nickname “Taliban” among some circles in the backstage.

It is something that the company wouldn’t want to spread like a wildfire during the time of SummerSlam and the Network renewals.

#1 Kurt Angle eager to return to WWE

Angle is one of those superstars that the fans would love to see back in WWE even if it is for one last match. And it was rumored recently that the Olympic Gold Medalist also wants the same and apparently made moves to make it happen.

He wanted to work on a light schedule like what Shawn Michaels had during the last phase of his career and was eager to have one last bow in front of the big crowd.

However, the idea might be shot down sooner or later considering why Vince McMahon let Angle go in the first place. Angle was physically torn apart back during his run in WWE and McMahon realized that keeping him in the roster would be a liability.

Angle went on to wrestle for TNA after his wrestle and is currently on a much worse state than he used to be.
