WWE COO Triple HLast Thursday on SmackDown (1/29/2015) Triple H said that he would make an announcement regarding the controversy surrounding the Royal Rumble match.Many fans were upset with the outcome of the match, with many expressing their disappointment online. Fans were upset with the fact that Roman Reigns won the match, upset certain wrestlers were eliminated early, and upset with the overall presentation of the match.Triple H said that he would make an announcement that would shake the WWE to its core, but what could the announcement be?
#3 Curtis Axel
One possible announcement Triple H could make is having the Royal Rumble match again. Now Triple H could use the fact that Curtis Axel was never eliminated, or ever entered the match. When Curtis Axel’s number was called he was attacked by Erick Rowan, after that he never made it too the ring.
Triple H could use Axel’s non-entry as an excuse to make the Royal Rumble match happen again, possibly at the new Pay-Per-View FastLane.
#2 The Authority doesn\'t care
Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, better known as “The Authority” could also use this so called “controversy” to enhance their heel persona.
“The Authority” could simply come out and say that they do not care about what the fans want. They could make fun of the WWE fans, and mock them for thinking that they care about what they think.
Doing this could help turn all the attention away from Roman Reigns, and put all that hate on “The Authority.
#1 Daniel Bryan
Another announcement Triple H could make, one that would certainly please WWE fans, is adding Daniel Bryan to the main event at WrestleMania.
Now Daniel Bryan being added to the match at WrestleMania make sense because he never lost the title.
After the WWE Pay-Per-View Payback, Daniel Bryan was forced to relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to a neck injury.
The number one complaint regarding the Royal Rumble match was not just the elimination of Daniel Bryan, but the fact that he was eliminated early. The possibility of adding Bryan to the main event of WrestleMania would certainly please the WWE fans. Daniel Bryan does have the right to challenge for the title, seeing as he never lost it, and because every champion is granted a rematch after they lose the title.
The WWE fans are clearly still behind Daniel Bryan. Adding Daniel Bryan to the main event of WrestleMania would give the fans what they want, and it would add a lot more intrigue to WrestleMania.
