5 Reasons Why Ambrose-Cena feud will be Best for Business

Dean Ambrose was taken away from the WWE programming when he was running a top feud with Seth Rollins. A returning Ambrose was sure to go after Rollins but WWE did something more intriguing when they threw in John Cena into the mix.Rollins cost Cena his chance to win the WWE championship from Lesnar at Night of Champions, and tis move from Mr. Money in the bank earned him a new enemy in the form of Cena. With Rollins being the common enemy, there will be a certain amount of tension between Cena and Ambrose on who gets there first. What lies forward is the possibility of a feud between Cena and Ambrose. And here are five reasons why it will be best for business.

#5 The Anti-hero vs. The Hero

Cena has been the hero of WWE for more than a decade now. He is an ideal role model for the children and is a face that can be printed everywhere from bill boards to milk cartons.

Though the fans have started to jeer this role of Cena, he still gets the booking of a hero from the WWE creative team. Ambrose on the other hand is exactly opposite.

He is not someone who takes the right path, he uses ambushes, he says things that Cena wouldnt say in ages, and he goes to that hardcore limit just for the values that he upholds rather than the gold that Cena fights for.

Though these two are aligned as faces; there is a complete contrast of character ensuring some excellent storytelling.

#4 Lesnar can have other opponents

There weren’t much arguments rose when Cena turned out to be the opponent for a returning Brock Lesnar.

This was because there weren’t much bigger stars than Cena in the roster to challenge the beast and the title also had a big say.

However, after two matches, the tides have changes. The WWE fans clearly don’t want another match between the two and would rather have some fresh opponents for Lesnar.

There are many options for Lesnar to feud with in the WWE roster with Reigns and Seth Rollins being the front runners. A face turn would end up with more opponents as Triple H, Randy Orton or Bray Wyatt could be put into the mix with Lesnar.

#3 War on the microphone

Cena’s promos might be a bit overlooked by the WWE fans thanks to the amount of attempted humor that he tries to incorporate into them.

He often makes fun of his opponents with some ridiculous taunting but no one can take away the fact that Cena is gold on the microphone.

Ambrose on the other side is one of the best talkers that WWE has seen in recent times. His promos are a rare combination of intensity and energy that takes the fans back into Attitude Era.

He has already draw comparisons to greats like Mick Foley and Roddy Piper and these two locking horns in the microphone would make it much watch television. What we saw last week on Raw was only the start as there is more to come from the duo.

#2 The much needed torch passing

Almost all the responsibilities of being the face of WWE rest on John Cena’s shoulder right now.

Brock Lesnar might be there while the company is trying desperately to bring up a new star, but still a majority of the fans doesn’t see beyond Cena.

There is a certain need of Cena himself pointing out the next big thing for the fans. His feud with Bray Wyatt was supposed to be a similar scenario but all of that got messed up due to the some bad decisions from the creative team.

Having a feud with someone like Ambrose would be another ideal opportunity for Cena to pass the torch. The only thing that should be taken care of is the way the feud would be handled as another botch would bury Ambrose.

#1 Possibility of Cena turning heel

A heel turn from Cena is one of the most anticipated moments in the history of professional wrestling. The long wait passed a decade this year and still Cena is going strong as the superman who has no kryptonite.

He is always the good guy but has stuck around so long to see the fans turn against him. Despite a majority of the WWE Universe wanting the turn to happen, the WWE hasn’t acknowledged the same.

This year Cena didn’t have many opportunities to turn heel as he was pitted against heels in the form of Lesnar and Bray Wyatt.

However, Ambrose belongs to a different mould. The fans are firmly behind him and being such a manipulative talent, Ambrose could be the one who would do the magical task of turning Cena heel.
