WWE WrestleMania 34: 3 matches Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn could have instead of facing each other

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been all over the main event scene of SmackDown Live for months. Now, it seems like these two will be renewing the rivalry the two of them have had going on for years. These guys are currently slated to participate in a one-on-one match against each other. The two best friends seemed destined for something different, however. The former NXT champions could be in a number of different spots for the big show.

They have been linked with multiple stars in the past few months. It would just make sense keeping them on the trajectory they are currently heading. Instead of just throwing them at each other these two could be doing other things. Owens and Zayn do not need to end their partnership just yet. They can fit into these spots a the big show.

#3 Fatal-4-Way WWE Championship Match

Owens vs. Nakamura

Owens and Zayn have continuously been screwed out of their championship shots lately. They haven't been given a fair shake thanks to one, Shane McMahon. Styles and Nakamura are officially fighting for the biggest stage. These two could easily have a claim for why they deserve to be involved. These four could have a fantastic main event. It makes sense to put them in after the way Fastlane finished.

This is a highly unlikely scenario, which is why it is at the number three spot. WWE seems to not want to have KO and Sami near the title at the moment. They seem set on Styles vs Shinsuke in a one-on-one match. Things could change before the big show, however. This match if it were to happen it would be one of the best main event matches WWE has ever had at Mania.

#2 Owens & Zayn vs. Shane & Daniel

This is where the storyline has been heading since the inception of the McMahon and Owens feud. The biggest question going in would be whether or not WWE would clear Bryan. This match has a WrestleMania feel to it. It has a huge return for one of the most popular stars of all time and three big names to pair him with. Shane has had his issues with Owens for nearly a year now.

This match could be SmackDown's answer to Triple H and Stephanie vs. Ronda and Angle. This tag match brings in the star power and it could be a great wrestling match too. Shane could take any major bumps for Daniel and Bryan could go in there for some technical mastery with Owens and Zayn. The potential of this match alone is exciting.

This should be what these two are doing at WrestleMania because the feud these two have can be elevated even more by a match huge triple threat on the biggest show wrestling has to offer. Sami and Owens could go at it a hundred times and most fans still will not get tired of it. They always manage to switch it up and keep things fresh. The feuds they have had in the past are unforgettable for all fans who have gotten to witness it.

Adding Shane to the match makes too much sense and putting the match inside the cell would be poetic. He wouldn't have to dominate the wrestling aspect of the match as Sami and Owens can take care of that. Shane can be beaten to a pulp only for Owens and Zayn to turn on each other in the match. They can destroy each other leaving the door open for Shane to overcome the odds. Of course, Shane can's win the match Sami or Kevin has to just because Shane winning would cause me to throw a television.
