5 Possible Opponents for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 35

If The Undertaker wrestles another WrestleMania, whom could he face?
If The Undertaker wrestles another WrestleMania, whom could he face?

This year at WrestleMania, we saw The Undertaker shock the world as he returned from the dead to answer John Cena's challenge. He dispatched Cena in no time at all, a decision that received mixed reactions from the WWE Universe. But here's the good news. Physically, he looked in great shape.

So much so, that we think that he could certainly compete at WrestleMania 35. Whether or not he would want to is up to him. Considering that he's wrestling twice in April, the signs are promising though.

Who could The Undertaker face at WrestleMania 35? We pick 5 worthy contenders for the honour of battling the Dead Man.

Here they are...

#5 Aleister Black

Could these two supernatural forces face off in a dream match?
Could these two supernatural forces face off in a dream match?

Aleister Black has been dubbed by many to be the second coming of The Undertaker. The has much of the same mystique and his strikes look just as realistic as The Undertaker's! If Black were to be called up to the main roster through the course of the year, he could make a very good opponent for The Undertaker. It would be a match we'd definitely pay to see.

It's clear that WWE is very high on the current NXT Champion. After all, he made an appearance on the main roster during his NXT run, to take out Curt Hawkins. Great things are in store for the tattooed Dutch Destroyer.

Maybe his future is indeed so bright that WWE wants him to take on The Undertaker at the 'Show of Shows' in his retirement match. We would love to see this highly anticipated contest unfold.

#4 AJ Styles

Phenom vs. Phenomenal would be a pretty cool match indeed
Phenom vs. Phenomenal would be a pretty cool match indeed

It was not long ago that members of the WWE Universe wanted to see a 'Phenom vs. Phenomenal' match on the Grandest Stage. The Undertaker still looks great but because he's no longer a young man, has definitely lost a step or two. Enter AJ Styles. Styles is a performer that can have a match with a broomstick and make it look good!

If Styles is no longer WWE Champion a year down the line, this could be a great match for the 'Phenomenal One' to compete in. Only a handful of superstars have had an opportunity to wrestle The Undertaker and Styles could become one of the chosen few. We're certain that The Undertaker too wouldn't be opposed to this idea, as he works great with smaller men.

Imagine a Tombstone being countered into a Calf Crusher. Imagine a Phenomenal Forearm being countered into a chokeslam. The possibilities are quite endless.

#3 John Cena

Somehow we believe that this saga has not ended yet
Somehow we believe that this saga has not ended yet

John Cena faced The Undertaker this year at WrestleMania and made very short work of him. This was a pretty surprising outcome after the weeks of build that led up to this moment. The only reason we can imagine for the same is that Cena and The Undertaker are not done with one another. Maybe there's another chapter in their rivalry waiting to be written.

Maybe the next part of their rivalry will unfold at WrestleMania 35, to determine who's indeed the heart and soul of WWE. Maybe Cena can get his retribution at last and in doing so, get the rub from the Dead Man.

#2 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan and The Undertaker could certainly tear it up
Daniel Bryan and The Undertaker could make for some interesting viewing

Daniel Bryan is back in the ring once again! We saw him receive a thunderous ovation at WrestleMania 34 and have the utmost confidence in him competing at WrestleMania 35. Bryan and The Undertaker is a main event worthy of just about any WrestleMania card.

We've often seen how the SmackDown side of things does not usually match up to RAW in the lead up to a WrestleMania. This could be SmackDown's marquee match leading into WrestleMania 35. It honestly does not get any bigger than this clash of legends.

Much like AJ Styles, Bryan too is a wizard in the ring. Him and The Undertaker could have a fantastic mat based match that could possibly steal the show!

#1 Braun Strowman

After performing in a comedy skit at WrestleMania 34, Strowman deserves better
After performing in a comedy match at WrestleMania 34, Strowman deserves better

Braun Strowman has arguably been the MVP of RAW in the year 2017. He always got the loudest pops and had a series of classics with The Big Show as well. Sadly, during WrestleMania time, he was booked in a silly comedy segment with a little kid named Nicholas. A move that effectively buried the tag team division.

Strowman deserves better at WrestleMania 35. The Undertaker could call it quits by putting over Strowman and effectively passing the torch to him as the next big guy in WWE. It would certainly be a match we never thought we would see.

And that concludes our list of worthy opponents for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 35. Is there a name that you believed should have been on the list that got left out?
