5 Superstars who deserve a United States title opportunity 

The way the current US title situation is progressing, we're most probably going to see a three-way battle between Bobby Roode, Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal.

While this matchup isn't pathetic, it isn't the most exciting match on the card either. Moreover, the WWE universe is not that pleased with Jinder Mahal being the third participant, considering how irrelevant his title reign was and how it ushered SmackDown Live into a phase wherein they lost the qualities which made them such a great show.

While we can't blame Mahal, who has put in legit amount of hard work into his character, there could be someone else who we would love to see fight The Glorious One and The Viper at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

#5 Tye Dillinger

The Perfect 10

Tye Dillinger is the man with one of the catchiest gimmicks in WWE. You could hear the crowd chant "Ten! Ten! Ten!" whenever this man came out to entertain. Since his main roster debut, his career is like a hot air balloon with a hole in it; it keeps deflating. Its a crying shame considering he has the looks, the ability, and a gimmick which could be an able replacement for the "Yes" movement.

Giving him a title opportunity would be one step in the right direction, which is to make him a bonafide star. A babyface who would actually get cheered by the crowds in attendance.

#4 Fandango

One time wonder or much more than that?

Fandango is a curious case. He was pushed to the moon when the fans didn't seem to like him all that much. Then the man got a win on his debut against Chris Jericho at WrestleMania. Such a moment launched the Superstar to the stratosphere and after that win, he eventually won over the WWE universe with his dancer gimmick.

One would expect him to get better from there but then that is where his career took a downward spiral. After being completely lost for some time he got paired up with Tyler Breeze. This was a welcome change as Fandango excelled even with this gimmick.

The fashion files were a big hit. But then came The Bludgeon Brothers and their first victim was the credibility of Breezango. After spending a few weeks as their practice dolls before they moved on to the Uso's and New Day, they haven't been seen.

Fandango is a solid worker and has proven to excel in gimmicks which had no right to do any good to a Superstar. Such a performer deserves a title opportunity to showcase once again why he was allowed to beat Jericho at WrestleMania.

#3 Chad Gable

A potential champion

One half of the former tag team American Alpha, Chad Gable is seriously underrated. His in-ring work is actually phenomenal and whenever he's got camera time, he makes the best use of it and shines brighter than his opponents, even when he loses the match.

The guy who actually would be a more believable son to Kurt Angle has the skills, along with the charisma which was evident when he was interviewed right after Jason Jordan was announced as Kurt's son. He would definitely make the US title match a blockbuster encounter and would definitely give him an opportunity which is long overdue.

#2 Big E

Big E is massively underrated

Now Big E going after the title is not directly proportional to the split of The New Day. The Shield had Roman Reigns going after the Intercontinental Championship while Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins went after tag team gold. So why not the same with The New Day?

Moreover, Xavier Woods did take part in the tournament for the US title which means that they can go for singles titles. I choose Big E over Kofi Kingston and Woods because he has shown amazing improvement since joining the team. He had a uni-dimensional personality before when he fought for the Intercontinental Championship but now he's well prepared to carry the US title.

Happy Rusev Day!

Who else would it be? I am on the edge with the WWE regarding this guy. In all honesty, he has one of the best gimmicks in all of SmackDown. Aiden English as his partner is brilliant; he is a big guy who has amazing wrestling ability and the crowds love him to bits. That's a dream champion for any promotion, especially for the WWE.

Unless there is a really elaborate plan which would make us all be in awe, delaying this man's crowning moment is probably the worst decision ever that the WWE can make. Just get him into the match, have him crush the opposition like he loves to do and send the crowd home happier than a squirrel with nuts.
