5 WWE jobbers who should be promoted to the midcard

He deserves to be in the midcard

Unlike UFC, WWE does not have categories on their roster. Although there is a division for Women and the tag teams, apart from these, the other divisions do not exist on paper but are concepts that we perceive from how WWE books their shows.

There are main eventers who always feature on top of the card, the upper mid carders that knock on the door of the main event scene, the mid carders who keep the IC and the United States titles busy and then there are the jobbers who get to put over all of the above categories.

And this last set of superstars will be our topic of concern for this list. There are certain names that deserve a promotion and here is a look at them:

Adam Rose

Great story, solid wrestler

The story of Adam Rose is one worth being in a film. It was featured in the ESPN E60 Episode and we all got a peek into how his life and career was. It also showed us how good he is in carrying gimmicks irrespective of what they are. His initial gimmick, the Leo Kruger one was entirely opposite to that of the Adam Rose character.

But the character slowly bombed in the main roster and Rose was essentially a jobber for most of the time. His run with the Social Outcasts ended up being the same and rubbed salt into the wound came when he was suspended for violating the wellness policy. Hopefully, when he returns he will feature in the mid card.

Damien Sandow

Unlucky?

I’m still wondering why WWE does not use Damien Sandow these days. If we rewind a few years back, Sandow was in the main event picture and was also the Money in the Bank winner. He then had the stunt double gimmick which was probably one of the most entertaining things about WWE television back then.

In short, Damien Sandow shined in every role that he had or that WWE gave him. Yet, Sandow gets the jobber treatment. It is a curious case and if we are to think positive, let’s just hope that WWE is planning some big repackaging for him because nothing else explains his absence from the television these days.

Konnor and Viktor

Wasted

The fall of Konnor and Viktor is proof that things that work in NXTdon’t necessarily work on the main roster. Back in NXT, the Ascension was one of the most feared tag teams. They had this creepy aura that made them scary and they backed it up with a physical style in between the ropes. The tag title reign they had was a good one and everyone wanted to see them succeed in the main roster.

But when they reached the main roster, something went wrong. They soon were relegated to jobber status and have remained so. Things worsened when Konnor got suspended although the rumors suggested that he did not test positive for any drug.

Bo Dallas

When will the WWE bolieve?

Bo Dallas comes from a family of good wrestlers. And it would be unfair to say that he is not a good wrestler. Bo had a great time down in NXT and he was one of the best NXT champions. And during his initial run in the main roster, Bo was a heel that everyone loved to hate but for some reason, his push halted somewhere.

Bo was pushed into irrelevance later and he then resurfaced as part of the Social outcasts. Bo might not be the typical prototype, but he comes along with a great in ring ability and some solid microphone skills which could do wonders in the mid card if used correctly.

Tyler Breeze

Unrecognized talent

The whole gimmick of Tyler Breeze is a bit hard to digest. Of course, from a merchandise point of view, it is great as his selfie sticks sell well, but from a wrestling point of view it is affecting him badly. Back in NXT, the gimmick was a hit because the fans saw through his gimmick and understood how good he was in between the ropes.

He got chances to showcase his talent but it is something that Breeze doesn’t get on the main roster. He is booked in short matches where he jobs and the talent he has goes in vain due to the same. Breeze, if considered only according to his wrestling talent belongs to the upper-mid card but that would be a long shot; he deserves to be in the midcard, at the very least.
