Rumour: Bill Goldberg talks with Triple H about making a comeback to the WWE

Will Goldberg return to the WWE?

In an interview with PWInsider, Bill Goldberg has revealed that he had talked to Triple H about making a possible comeback in the WWE.

The former WWE superstar had considered returning to the WWE for Wrestlemania 30 and he had discussions with the Executive Vice President of Talent Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque.

There were speculations about an anticipated feud with Ryback to which Goldberg said that he had contacted The Game on several occasions, but they were general conversations and not anything pertaining to a match at Wrestlemania 30. It is believed that the prospect of facing Ryback is what stopped Goldberg from making a return as he might have considered Ryback as a meager contender.

On the possibility of making a comeback, this is what the WCW legend had to say,

“Would I love to do it again and have my son and my wife, who has never seen me wrestle? Abso-damn-lutely. Would I jeopardize what I’ve done in the wrestling world just to make that happen? No. So if I wasn’t ready to do it, physically ready to do it, and it wasn’t the right situation, I wouldn’t do it just to do it. If that was the case, I’d probably be at WrestleMania this year. It just has to be right and if it’s not right, then I’m retired, for good.”

Goldberg was last seen in a WWE ring in a match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 20 which was 10 years ago.
