Bram Incident: Details which led to TNA Star's arrest, WWE Diva denies involvement

TNA Star Bram has been accused of strangulation and false imprisonment by his girlfriend

Thomas Latimer better known by his ring name Bram, who is a wrestler with TNA Impact Wrestling, has been accused of strangulation and false imprisonment in Florida. Both are felony charges, and he is currently being held in the Pinellas County Jail.

He was taken into custody in Gulfport early on the morning of August 30. The following day, Bram was suspended from TNA. It’s to be noted that the wrestler is an English native who worked for the WWE until November 2012 when he was controversially arrested. Also, he is Ric Flair’s son-in-law, having married Charlotte in 2013. However, they are no longer together. The Gulfport Police Department issued the following in regards to his arrest:

Professional Wrestler Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

Date: 8/31/15

Gulfport, FL—On 8/30 at approximately 6:00 AM, officers responded to a call about a disturbance in an apartment at 3205 58th Street South. There they encountered Thomas R. Latimer and a woman who identified herself as his girlfriend.

The officers observed evidence indicative of a physical altercation, and their investigation revealed that, after the couple had been arguing, the woman felt threatened and sought refuge in her bedroom.

Latimer followed her into the bedroom, closed the door, and refused to allow her to leave. He then pushed the woman onto the bed and was holding her down by her neck.

As soon as the story broke out, speculations have been rife with many media outlets suggesting that the woman in question is none other than WWE Diva Charlotte. However to clear up the confusion, Charlotte was not the woman involved. As noted earlier, Charlotte and Bram were married in 2013 but quietly split some time this year. Since then, Bram had been dating a woman named Ashley Allen, who deleted her Twitter account that included photos with Bram this afternoon.
