Brock Lesnar legit injured, his future, WWE issues official statement

Lesnar being attended by doctors backstage

Brock Lesnar and Undertaker had a bloody encounter at Hell in a Cell, that as earlier reported, was to be a suspected instance of blading by Lesnar.

According to latest reports, Lesnar most likely suffered the injury after he collided face-first into the steel ring post. The wound needed nine stitches, which wouldn’t be the case if were it a ‘blade job’.

The WWE too acknowledged the same and issued a statement on the Beast’s injury, which is given below:

During his Hell in a Cell Match against The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar suffered a large gash on his head after being pushed face-first into the steel ring post. The gash required medical attention during the contest, and WWE.com has learned that The Beast Incarnate received as many as nine staples following the match.

Also, it has to be noted that Vince wasn't exactly annoyed over the bloodshed in the match, but for the fact that Lesnar shoved the doctor away when he tried to help him out. The interruption broke the momentum of the match, which pissed Lesnar, who pushed the doctor in the heat of the moment.

When it comes to Lesnar’s WWE future, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ is most likely to be back for WrestleMania 32. These plans, though, are subject to change due to the absence of top draws such as John Cena and Randy Orton. That is one of the reasons, WWE is using Undertaker for more dates as scheduled and even for a huge Survivor Series match up, that also incidentally, marks the 25th anniversary of ‘The Phenom’ in WWE.
