Chris Jericho revealed in an interview with F4WOnline that CM Punk has refused to return his calls ever since he quit the WWE in January this year. Jericho has said that he tried reaching out to Punk multiple times but he has got no response.
Punk, as one may recall left the company after reportedly being burnt out and feeling hard done by at being ignored despite possessing talent both in the ring and on the mic. Part-time superstars coming in for major pay-per-views and getting the linelight also seems to have led to Punk’s decision. The superstar has not been seen in a ring ever since only making appearances at baseball games and other events.
“We have worked together multiple times over the years. We always had great chemistry and he was one of my favorite guys to work with.
But since he left the WWE he has avoided me. I’ve never heard one peep or squeak from him since. I’ve reached out to him a couple of times, like ‘hey I’m watching the class from 78′, but no, nothing.”
He added:
“That’s his decision and that’s kind of a drag. It’s like I understand that professionally, but leaving your friends behind is a bit of a drag. I mean, I don’t give a f*** if he wrestles or not.”
