Good news for WWE RAW post MSG special, HIAC update, Ted DiBiase documentary and more

“The Beast” and “The Giant”

- In some reprieve for Vince McMahon, who has been ‘freaking out’ over the recent dip in the viewership numbers, this week’s episode of RAW saw a spike as it was the fallout edition for the MSG special.

This week RAW drew around 3.378 million viewers, which is an increase from last week’s record low of 3.333 million viewers. Brock Lesnar’s appearance and the build up for Hell In a Cell worked wonders in improving the dismal performance, which has been the case as of late. The hourly breakdown of this week’s RAW saw 3.473 million viewers in the first hour, 3.494 million viewers in the second and 3.167 million viewers in the final hour.

As usual, RAW was at the #3 spot in the overall rankings behind SportsCenter and NFL’s Monday Night Football that drew 14,403 million viewers, which has been the norm during the football season. In the 18-49 demographic, RAW stood at #5 behind the likes of NFL, SportsCenter, Black Ink Crew and Love & Hip-Hop.

- “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase’s documentary “Price Of Fame” may finally see the light of the day as Jim Ross noted that he did some voice work for the upcoming documentary in Norman, Oklahoma. Peter Ferriero and Ted Dibiase Jr are the ones working on the documentary, which was earlier thought to have been scrapped due to it not featuring on the list of WWE documentaries to be released in 2016.

The WWE is known to be a little finicky when it comes to their copyrighted footage, which was one of the reasons the documentary being stalled due to legal troubles over usage of some footage. The WWE was also apprehensive about putting the spotlight on Dibiase’s problems while life on the road. In any case the documentary would be out soon and below is the trailer of it:

- The Dudleys are all set to get their rematch against The New Day at Hell In a Cell for the Tag team championship as announced by Stephanie McMahon on RAW this week. At this moment, the match stipulation has not been decided or announced but from backstage reports, it is most likely to be a Tables match.

It has also been rumored that Hell In a Cell would mark the momentous occasion when the Dudleys would claim their tenth reign. Will the WWE go down that way is yet to be seen, but it a possibility as Vince is looking for ways to increase the TV ratings.
