John Cena on the Match that changed his career

John Cena is now at the pinnacle of WWE and a superstar whose fame few can manage to rival. But there was a time when he was working his way through the entertainment business and was a relatively unknown name when compared to the guy he fought his debut match with - Kurt Angle. Angle was a superstar and a multiple times champion and was known for ‘Ruthless Aggression’ which defined the era at that time.Only recently Cena talked about the match that changed his career and he believes that his debut match was the one that did the trick. Here’s what he had to say,"It wasn't the match itself, or the body of the match, it was the fact that it happened. It's not that I was more or less accepted backstage. I didn't have a sense of entitlement, achievement or acceptance. I knew I had a start. And if you look back, it was an improper start, but a start nonetheless. It just didn't work. The situation I was put in wasn't the right time. I would soon evolve into something extremely different and go from there. But the most important thing about it was it was a beginning. You can't have a good story without a beginning."If you look at that match, it seems that Cena is not wrong for he completely dazzled in his debut and pinned down the indomitable Angle several times. Couple of times Angle escaped losing the match by the skin of his teeth.
