According to Wrestling Inc., the next season of Total Divas has a few cast changes that might interest its viewers.
Mandy Rose, who joined the Total Divas cast in season 5, and Rosa Mendes, who recently had her baby shower will not be returning to the main cast. Also, Alicia Fox who has been a main star in the past seasons will also not make it to the main cast. Whether these stars will make occasional appearances has not been confirmed yet.
Instead of them, the new season of Total Divas will see the return of Trinity (aka Naomi) to the main cast. Rene Young who has been cast as a recurring star in Season 5 will make it to the main cast this new season. The ravishing Lana has also been added to the main cast.
This season will also feature Maryse as a main star. Maryse returned to WWE programming in this week’s Raw to help her husband, The Miz, win the Intercontinental Championship from Zack Ryder. WWE backstage news had confirmed that Maryse will be making regular apperances in other WWE programming along with her role in Total Divas.
Maryse, who became a part of WWE after WWE Diva Search competition in 2006, is a two time WWE Divas Champion in her own right. She was well-known for her on-screen feud with Michelle McCool in 2008.
She was also the first WWE Diva to hold the championship twice. Apart from being incredibly beautiful, she also holds a black belt in martial arts. It would be interesting to see how WWE uses Maryse’s talents to further the Divas Revolution.
