Maryse Mizanin is a Canadian professional wrestler, professional wrestling manager, actress, reality star, and glamour model signed with WWE. She is a former two-time WWE Divas Champion.
Maryse Mizanin aka Maryse was born on 21st of January, 2023 in Montreal, Canada. Maryse was the only girl in her class during schooling. She also paricipated in various fashion shows of the school. She followed her passion of modeling after graduating. She won various beauty pageant contest during her modelling career.
She is married to the Miz, a former WWE Champion since 2014. The duo has been appearing in WWE regularly.
In 2006, Ouellet tried out for Divas Search. She entered the contest but was eliminated after two rounds. In 2007, WWE signed her, and she began working for OVW. Ouellet began training and wrestling at OVW and FCW before moving to SmackDown. They renamed her Maryse and spent the year facing several superstars such as Victoria, Michelle McCool, Cherry, and Eve Torres.
In 2008, Maryse began feuding with Michelle McCool. At Survivor Series, she was the sole survivor of her team. In December, she defeated McCool to win her first Divas Championship. In 2009, she lost the title to Mickie James at Night of Champions.
In 2010, she entered a tournament to win the vacant Divas Championship. In the finals, she defeated Gail Kim to win her second Divas Championship. In June, she lost the title in a fatal four-way match. In 2011, she became the personal manager of Ted DiBiase. She became a pro at NXT before leaving the company.
In 2016, Maryse made a return and assisted The Miz to win the Intercontinental Championship. Maryse began managing The Miz, who is her real-life husband. She took leaves during her pregnancy and returned to assist The Miz frequently. In 2017, The Miz and Maryse lost to John Cena and Nikki Bella at WrestleMania 33.
In 2018, The Miz and Maryse defeated Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella at Hell in a Cell. In 2021, Maryse returned to managing The Miz after their second child. The Miz and Maryse will face Edge and Beth Phoenix at the Royal Rumble.
