In the lead-up to the Backlash Premium Live Event, Rikishi sent a one-word message to his son, Jey Uso.

On Monday Night RAW, Jey Uso and Damian Priest came face-to-face before their showdown for the World Heavyweight Championship. Main Event Jey recently won a Fatal Four-Way Match to become the #1 contender for Priest's title.

Taking to Twitter/X, Rikishi sent a one-word message, reacting to Jey and Priest's segment from RAW.

"#Yeet," wrote Rikishi as he shared the promo between Jey and Priest.

Check out Rikishi's tweet:

In recent weeks, Jey has secured major victories, starting with WrestleMania XL when he defeated his brother, Jimmy Uso. On Night One, Jey won a highly-anticipated singles match between The Usos.

He then followed up with a win over Drew McIntyre, Bronson Reed, and Ricochet, courtesy of an assist from CM Punk. With the win, the former Bloodline member earned a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.

Jey Uso was called a failure by Grayson Waller and Austin Theory

At WrestleMania XL, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory won the SmackDown Tag Team Championships by dethroning Damian Priest and Finn Balor in a Six-Pack Ladder Match. The titles were later replaced by the newly introduced WWE Tag Team Championships.

Speaking on WWE's The Bump, Waller and Theory took shots at Jey Uso, calling him a "failure". The Australian star called Jey a "flop" before Theory continued to mock him. A-Town Down said:

"What a flop," Waller began, before asking Theory a rhetorical question. "Did Jey Uso win a championship? No. Lil Wayne likes champions."

With the Backlash Premium Live Event right around the corner, Jey has the opportunity to change his status from challenger to champion. The former multi-time tag team champion hasn't won a singles title in the company but could dethrone Damian Priest in France.

Priest won the title at WrestleMania XL when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre.
