Professional wrestling is the world of scripted storylines. However, there have been moments when WWE Superstars found themselves breaking character. These instances happened due to anger, disgust, or even miscommunication.

In the main event of WrestleMania 19, Brock Lesnar faced Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship. During the match, Lesnar attempted to deliver a Shooting Star Press on Angle. The Shooting Star Press is a move commonly used by lightweight wrestlers and is not recommended for a heavyweight like Brock. Despite this, The Beast Incarnate delivered the move and he landed on his neck. Lesnar managed to finish the match and win the title but he was angry at himself for messing up the move. He was seething in rage backstage and only after receiving medical attention did he calm down.

Similarly, Seth Rollins had a breakdown after CM Punk made his blockbuster return at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023. After Cody Rhodes' team defeated The Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre in the Men's WarGames Match, Punk came out and shocked the world. However, Seth Rollins was not happy to see the Second City Saint and he attempted to confront the latter despite being stopped by WWE officials.
