Hirai Kawato vs Bone Soldier

Bone Soldier, the man formerly known as Captain New Japan, is the latest recruit for the Bullet Club. He turned his back on New Japan Pro Wrestling a few weeks ago, taking out Yoshitatsu after the latter fired him from Hunter Club (the Bullet Club hunters), to align with the Bullet Club.

Bone Soldier lost the match after getting intentionally disqualified, in what is becoming a recurring trend for him.

Jushin Thunder Liger and Titan vs ACH and Tajiri Ishimori (first round match of the Super Juniors Tag-Team Tournament)

Ring of Honor star, ACH, got a spot on last night’s show and he took his chance to impress. Teaming up with Tajiri Ishimori, they took on Japanese legend Jushin Thunder Liger and his partner for the night, Titan.

ACH and Ishimori put on an impressive show and have great chemistry with each other. They picked up the win near the 8-minute mark with ACH hitting Titan with a Midnight Star (450 Splash).

Fuego & Ryusuke Taguchi vs Angel De Oro & Tiger Mask IV

We had two CMLL talents team up with a partner from NJPW each in the next match. The match itself was surprisingly good, with Fuego and Taguchi looking like a proper tag-team.

Fuego picked up the win for his team after pinning Angel De Oro following a La Magistral.

Will Ospreay, Tomohiro Ishii, Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI vs Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Yujiro Takahashi & Chase Owens

We had an 8-tag match between the men from Chaos and the Bullet Club next. Will Ospreay looked impressive as usual pulling off an array of high-flying moves while Tomohiro Ishii showed us once again that he’s Japanese wrestling’s answer to Brock Lesnar.

Ospreay is one of the most popular gaijin’s in New Japan right now and the crowd were hot for almost everything he did. The match ended with Tomohiro Ishii delivering a devastating brainbuster to Chase Owens to pick up the win.

Hiroshi Tanahashi and David Finlay vs Yoshi Tatsu and Juice Robison

Huge upset in this match with Yoshi and Juice picking up the win. Robinson helped his team pick up the win after a Pulp Fiction to David Finlay.

Kazuchika Okada, Rocky Romero & Barreta vs. The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt & Nick Jackson)

Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega will face each other at Wrestle Kingdom 11 in January

This was the big match of the night even though it wasn’t the main event and it didn’t disappoint. Omega and Okada will face each other at Wrestle Kingdom 11 in January and the rest of the year will build up to that match, as did this match.

The Elite picked up the win after the Young Bucks delivered the Indy Taker to Rocky Romero before Matt Jackson pinned him.

Los Ingobernables De Japon vs Blue Justice

Naito (R) led his boys to a huge win

The main-event featured Yuji Nigata and the members of Blue Justice taking on Tetsuya Naito and his boys – Evil, Bushi, and Sanada. Given that this was Blue Justice tribute night, the result came as a huge shock when Los Ingobernables pulled off the win.

Tetsuya Naito hit Manabu Nakanashi with the Destino to pull off the shocking upset in favour of Los Ingobernables.

Nagata got on the mic after the match and promised to avenge this defeat in the future. The night ended with Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Satoshi Kojima getting honoured for the 25-year anniversary of their tag-team “TenCozy”.
