WWE Debut :
March 18,2002 – The day,the so-called BEAST today,Brock Edward Lesnar, first showed up in the WWE ring.
A lot of people anticipated that the young lad would one day become the WWE champion,the highest legacy one could dream of in WWE, but none of them ever imagined in their wildest of the dreams,that the very lad,would turn into a merciless,brutal,barbaric BEAST destroying everybody on his way.
First Championship win :
The 12 years in the making of a BEAST all started at “Backlash” 2002,his first feud with Jeff Hardy,where Hardy lost the match by a count out.
His sobriquet,”The Next Big Thing”,in the early days of his career proved apt.
He took on some big names including Hulk Hogan,RVD and went on to win a few intermediate level titles.”The First Big Thing” that happened to “The Next Big Thing” dates back to “Summer Slam”,where he defeated The Rock,not just to become the WWE UNDISPUTED CHAMPION,but the YOUNGEST WWE CHAMPION(25 years),a record that was on the name of The Rock by then!!
Journey to the Top:
Lesnar started climbing to the top of the WWE ladder,only to face The Undertaker at “Unforgiven” and was asked to defend his title against the phenom.The match ended on a double disqualification,only to have been rescheduled as a rematch for the title in a “Hell in a cell” match.
Brock successfully defended the title and went on to shut the mouths of his critics,who doubted his ranks in WWE.The successful journey continued with yet another defense of the title against Edge.Lesnar’s next famous opponent was The Big Show,with whom,some of the greatest WWE matches were fought.Thanks to the Lesnar,who destroyed the WWE ring,with a superplex from the top rope!!
2004-Lesnar quits WWE:
Lesnar’s one best friend/manager from day 1 in his WWE career was Paul Heyman.Paul betrayed Lesnar in a match against Big show,and this cost him the title and the first pinfall loss in WWE.
Lesnar later went on to take against Kurt Angle,one of the classic WWE rivalries,one could never forget.Lesnar,in the meanwhile won the Royal Rumble, which guaranteed him a title match at WrestleMania XIX against Angle,only to win his second WWE title in one of the epic WWE matches .
After WrestleMania,Lesnar shifted focus to the returning “John Cena”,a rivalry that lasted for a very short period,with Lesnar taking the upper hand over Cena.In 2004,Lesnar faced Goldberg,one of the greatest WWE superstars,at WrestleMania XX,only to be defeated.In 2004,Lesnar quit WWE.
Furious comebacks :
Lesnar was a wild animal,who grew in his early days,feeding on prey by interest and enthusiasm. In 2012,Lesnar returned to WWE,fully transpired as the so-called BEAST INCARNATE.
The Titantron music that John Cena would never forget,came about in 2012,when Lesnar showed up on RAW,challenging Cena for a match at “Summer Slam”.Cena was beaten badly,but somehow survived and went on to win.
Beast’s baddest hunts :
Lesnar started feeding on prey by grudge and hatred. This made things worst for Triple H,whose arm was broken twice by the beast.
The three classic encounters between Triple H and Lesnar,out of which Lesnar went on to win 2 of the 3,were the most brutal matches in WWE history. The Locker room started staring at the BEAST,unable to at least think of a fight.The bloodiest dream,a WWE superstar could ever have, is staying in the same ring with Brock-The Beast-Lesnar.
Streak conquered :
The BEAST’s path of destruction crossed limits and the epic match with THE UNDERTAKER,at WrestleMania XXX,is a living example of what Lesnar is!! Even in the wildest of the guess,no one would have imagined the BEAST ending the streak so authoritatively!
Paul Heyman rightly says: ”The one in 21-1”. It could only be Lesnar.
On the hunt for Cena:
The same BEAST now looks to conquer John Cena,which eventually would happen.
The only question that has to be answered is: ”Who on the Earth is man enough to take the title back from Lesnar-if he wins it ?”-A million dollar question,to which only Lesnar can answer!!
