New details have emerged about Triple H's leadership style in WWE following Vince McMahon's resignation earlier this year. The former Chairman stepped down after a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant was revealed to the public.

The Game has taken over creative responsibility for the promotion and has helped guide WWE to its most successful WrestleMania in history. According to a new report by NBC News, the company has been more relaxed since Vince McMahon's departure. The report states that McMahon would arrive for shows late in the afternoon and oftentimes would stay until midnight or later.

NBC News noted that McMahon had a quick trigger when it came to firing employees and that is no longer the case. Some employees told the publication that there is more room for freedom or to make a mistake in the company now. The promotion also now gives underperforming employees a progress report and the opportunity to correct the issue before any action is taken.

Former WWE writer criticizes Triple H's booking

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo believes Triple H's lack of experience as a writer is hurting the company's product overall.

Speaking on this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo noted that he was not taking a shot at The Game, but said that he wasn't a writer, he is a former wrestler who books matches.

The veteran claimed that it would be like him stepping inside the squared circle and thinking he could compete with professional wrestlers.

"Listen, it's not a shot at Triple H. He is not a writer. He's another wrestler booking matches. That's not a shot at him, that's a fact. That literally would be like me stepping in a wrestling ring and thinking I can compete with the wrestlers. You're not a writer bro. That's why you're gonna get a house show.
