Rumours of Randy Orton being punished by WWE not true

In the main event of WWE’s Live Event from British Columbia, Dolph Ziggler defeated Randy Orton in a singles match in what was a clean fought contest.

But there were speculations surrounding this fight that Orton was being penalized, more precisely in “the dog house” for involving himself in social media controversy where he made insulting comments to a female fan.

However, those rumours aren’t true as top babyfaces usually are scheduled to perform for the house shows. It is to be noted that Ziggler was the top available babyface as Roman Reigns has been booked to face Orton in Canada while Dean Ambrose is caught up in a rivalry with Seth Rollins.

Ziggler will be facing The Miz for the Intercontinental title at SummerSlam on August 17 in Los Angeles.
