TNA News: TNA partners up with Al Snow's Wrestling Academy

Students at Al Snow’s Wrestling Academy.

On 1st November Al Snow announced that his wrestling academy i.e. Al Snow Wrestling Academy is now the official home for “Global Development Center” for TNA Wrestling. The announcement, which Snow posted on the Facebook page of his wrestling academy, reads:

If you have the passion, the heart and the desire to start the journey to become the best you can be then join all the other students who have already started the pathway towards a career in professional wrestling.

The faculty list is as follows:

Learn the right way from the legend and former Head Trainer of WWE Al Snow.

The Main Man the one and only Doug Williams.

European and U.K. Great - James Mason

The Teacher, former WWE and TNA - Joe E Legend

TNA star Bad Bones - John Klinger

High Flying Red Eagle

German Woman star & MMA fighter Alpha Female

Muladi Badibengi Catch Wrestling Coach UKcc 2

The first batch is scheduled to begin in January and last three months. However, is this something TNA needs, considering the crisis they’re going through right now?

TNA has no source of money coming in, except the international T.V. deals, of which one in the UK already got cancelled. How will they manage the funding for this venture now? And will any student actually get to be on TNA programming, if TNA survives in the coming months?

At this time nothing except speculation can be made regarding this venture. If TNA does manage to make a decent star out of this thing, well kudos to them.

What do you guys think?

Will the Global Development Center be a success? Or is it an exercise in vain?

Please, tell us your comments by writing them in the comments below.
