Triple H has kicked off the new era with a bang. WrestleMania 40 was a huge success and served as the official starting point of the "Paul Levesque Era." However, The Show of Shows isn't the only thing that makes this new version of WWE so exciting.

WWE themes have become far too generic and the fans are calling for Johnston's return
As of 2020, WWE has used themes that are being produced by a New York-based music production company, DJDTP. Under the pseudonym "def rebel," the company has produced some great themes for WWE. However, in recent times, the themes have gotten a bit stale. As such, the fans are calling for the return of Jim Johnston.
Bringing back Johnston would be a great way for Triple H to gain further support from the WWE Universe. What's more, Johnston would surely only improve upon the existing themes the company uses, coupling a fresh start in terms of sound with a new and improved era.
Jim Johnston has produced some of the most iconic themes in WWE history
In 2017, WWE let go of Jim Johnston after 32 years of service. And, while the younger fans may be enamored with the new WWE themes, they should be reminded of some of the iconic ones Johnston composed. From The Undertaker's "Rest In Peace" theme to the glass shattering of Stone Cold Steve Austin's "I Won't Do What You Tell Me," even Triple H's theme "The Game" was composed by Johnston and featured Motorhead.
The last theme Johnston ever produced for a WWE Superstar was Baron Corbin's "I Bring the Darkness." This was almost seven years ago and, in many ways, marked the end of a different kind of era in WWE's history. Now, at the age of 65, it won't be long before Johnston retires as a composer. With that in mind, WWE needs to welcome him back.
The new Triple H regime must correct the decision made by the Vince McMahon regime
Jim Johnston was let go when Vince McMahon was still in charge of the company. But now that Triple H is at the helm, WWE has the chance to change things up. And what better way to do that than by throwing in some nostalgia, and having Johnston compose themes for the company once again?
Having some new themes for the company's top stars would be incredible. While the likes of Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes all have themes that the WWE Universe loves, there are plenty of superstars who could use some new music they can strut out to. And Johnston could be the perfect person to compose them.
However, when all is said and done, this is all just mere speculation. There is no way of telling if WWE is even considering rehiring Jim Johnston. Nevertheless, there can be no denying that the WWE Universe would love to see him back.
