WWE ringside commentator Michael Cole will be calling the Main Event show from now on alongside Byron Saxton on Tuesday nights. He will be replacing Tom Phillips who along with Saxton was the voice of the show.
As seen on Friday night, Phillips has been added to the Smackdown team with JBL and Michael Cole. Phillips commented to WWE.com after Tuesday’s tapings in Phoenix:
“It was incredible to do that in front of the WWE Universe here in Phoenix. They are loud, they are having a blast. Sitting out there with Michael Cole and JBL, they’re pretty intense, but it was fun, man. I was a little nervous, but it was fun.”
