'Legendary' reason behind the Fastlane triple threat match

Big things in the works?

Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are all set to fight for a shot at Triple H’s WWE World Heavyweight title in a triple threat match at Fastlane, but that wasn't the original plan.

Apparently, the match was set to feature Reigns and Lesnar in singles competition, but Dean Ambrose was added in for a huge reason.

The reason being reported is so that the creative team has more options to work with if The Rock is available to wrestle at WrestleMania 32. It is still not sure how it would help the creative team in booking Rock if he does end up wrestling, but WWE is keeping the door open for a possible bout for the Great One.

Brock Lesnar has been rumored to be Rock’s opponent for months now, and if he does give a thumbs up for a wrestling role, the match could be on the cards.

As far as Rock’s in-ring status is concerned, there is no confirmation on whether he would lace up his wrestling boots, but the chances of it happening are quite promising, considering WWE’s way of getting things done.

Rock made a return to WWE TV on a recent episode of RAW and hyped up his appearance in Dallas on April 3rd. The segment was widely praised by WWE officials backstage, who were impressed by the way he carried himself throughout.

Officials were of the opinion that Rock was on a completely different level in comparison to other stars on the roster, which is expected of the legend.
