Jimmy Snuka arrested on manslaughter charges

WWE Hall of famer Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka was arrested on murder charges, announced the Lehigh County District Attorney of Pennsylvania. Snuka is 72 years old and the charges against him include third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter, stemming from the death of Snuka’s then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino back on May 11th, 1982.

Nancy was murdered at the former place known as the George Washington Motor Lodge. Snuka, back then, got away without being charged and the case was reopened by her family in 1984 by her family. Snuka was arrested yesterday afternoon and sent to Lehigh County Jail in lieu of %10 of $100,000 bail.

The following statement was issued by the WWE on the news:

“WWE expresses its continued sympathy to the Argentino family for their loss. Ultimately this legal matter will be decided by our judicial system.”
