John Cena won't be a 16-time WWE Champion unless he turns heel

John Cena must turn heel, in order to raise the bar

The rarest of the rare in WWE, as of now is John Cena playing a villainous role. However, the 15-time WWE champion won’t reach the prestigious status unless he turns heel. This is the most difficult thing in the world right now, but if Cena wants to attain Ric Flair’s status of being a16-time world champion, he needs to do such a contradictory role.

There are many reasons that Vince Mcmahon & Co should look after this situation, after Wrestlemania, to push Cena out of his comfort zone to reach the stature.

Cena has been playing the baby face role since he won his first championship match against John Bradshaw Layfield at Wrestlemania in 2005. Cena never turned heel for the past 12 years and the 15-time champion has won all these titles with a huge cheer from his fans. This is the biggest achievement in WWE.

But, if he wants to be the best wrestler in the WWE, he needs to come out of his comfort zone. Let’s see why Cena needs to turn heel.

With Roman Reigns at a pinnacle of his career, it’s difficult for Cena to maintain the supremacy he once had. Moreover, Reigns is going to be the WWE champion at Wrestlemania and that looks unlikely to change anytime soon.

Triple H will not fight against Reigns after his main event match at Wrestlemania in Texas. With Randy Orton and Seth Rollins currently injured, this is the best chance for Cena, who’s been in the same situation, to come back soon and shove Reigns. This is the best booking decision Vince Mcmahon has at his disposal.

Secondly, the magnitude of boos that he’s been on the receiving end shows he;s just not ready. The fans are urging the company to turn John Cena heel. The Authority needs to have a proper plan and have to work accordingly. There is no point in giving Cena countless opportunities to compete for the US and Intercontinental Championships.

There are rumours circulating backstage in the WWE that Cena would have faced Reigns at Wrestlemania if the company’s top star wasn’t injured in January.

Cena may be the face of WWE at present, but it’s difficult for him to move in the same direction. The large part of the crowd won’t accept Cena playing a heel role, but if they want to see their leader achieving that elusive 16th title, this turnaround is mandatory.
