WWE Live Event featured Roman Reigns in a main event match

WWE was at the Pensacola Bay Civic center in Pensacola, Florida for their Live Event house show on Friday. Featuring on the match card were Roman Reigns, Kane and United States champion Sheamus.

Here are the results from the event.

  • Battleground opponents Jack Swagger and Alexander Rusev opened the show as they went one-on-one against each other. Rusev won the fight via submission.
  • Damien Sandow and Adam Rose participated in a dance off as voted by the attending fans. Sandow attacked Rose during his dance, but Rose fought back. Sandow complained and issued an open challenge after that which was answered by the Great Khali who came out and manhandled him for the win.
  • US title was on the line as Sheamus defended it against Cesaro and Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat match. The Celtic Warrior successfully retained the title.
  • Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins in a back and forth match via disqualification after Rollins used his briefcase.
  • In a three-way tag-team match, The Usos defeated Rybaxel and Eric Rowan and Luke Harper of the Wyatts to retain their titles in front of their home crowd.
  • Paige, Nikki Bella and Summer Rae teamed up against Layla, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox and Paige got the win for her team via submission.
  • The main event match featured hometown boy Roman Reigns and Kane in a Last Man Standing match. Reigns was interrupted by Rollins in the match, but Ambrose came to his rescue and both brawled away. Reigns speared Kane through the table to pick up a victory. After the match got over, Reigns called out fellow hometown stars, The Usos and they talked about representing Pensacola and finished the night with “850” chants to send the crowd home happy.
