WWE Monday Night Raw November 14th 2016: Off air moments

Off air moments on Raw are always worth reviewing

Monday Night Raw came to us from Buffalo, New York and for those of you who weren’t in attendance and watching through the television, here are some of the off-air moments that you may have missed out on.

It was noted that the Keybank Center was almost of capacity attendance. Those in attendance estimated it to be at around 90% filled up. As for the matches in the pre-show, Titus O’Neil defeated Curtis Axel.

Titus still seems to be on the fringes of the WWE after his infamous Vince McMahon grabbing incident, while it isn’t really any surprise that Curtis Axel is being used as a perennial jobber. Instead of looking to bring talent up from NXT and depleting them, they could give someone like Curtis Axel a serious run at it.

Another match featured Darren Young, with Bob Backlund at his side, taking on Jinder Mahal. Mahal won that one in dominant fashion and looked good while doing it. Whatever happened to making Darren Young great again?

The Raw roster was already on the stage when the show opened, but it would seem that they elicited a massive pop when they came out. Another Superstar that got a massive pop is Braun Strowman, who is apparently getting over pretty nicely as this unstoppable monster.Thankfully, he’s being booked that way as well.

Nothing else of note happened off the cameras after that, and the show ended without a dark match main event as well. Given how entertaining the last segment was, it wasn’t necessary either.
