WWE Money in the Bank 2015: 3 possible endings for Kevin Owens vs John Cena

All eyes will be on Kevin Owens and John Cena on Sunday. The duo managed to come up with an excellent match at Elimination Chamber and the fans will be eager to see what they can do this time around. Just like their clash at Elimination Chamber, WWE has built up the match pretty well so far.

The emotions are on an all-time high as well. Owens would need the win to stamp his place as the new top heel while Cena cannot simply lose two matches in a row. There are some interesting dynamics in the match due to this situation. The ending that WWE wants will hold the key now. So here is a look at the possible ways in which they could end the match.

Owens becomes kryptonite

Kevin Owens could get a clean win

Kevin Owens will be raising a lot of eyebrows if he wins on Sunday. Getting two consecutive wins over the Cenation leader is not a small achievement. Many have tried but all have failed in doing so and Owens being the ‘one’ might shoot his career into the stars. Owens getting a cheap win is out of the window. If Owens wins on Sunday, it will be clean.

It might sound impossible but if Owens has enough backers in the company, then he might pull off a miracle. A clean win against Cena on Sunday will make Owens the top heel in WWE. Also, it will mark an end to the whole Superman gimmick that Cena has been having. Thus, Owens earning a new name: kryptonite.

Cena continues his Superman run

Or Cena could just bury Owens

The fans would love to see the last climax. However, in reality, we might be fed with this or the next one. If you take a look back the recent feuds of John Cena, we can see a pattern. He gets beaten up by his opponent in the start, only to come back stronger later into the storyline. Something similar could be expected from this feud as well.

The worst thing that could happen to Owens is this climax. Cena gets a squeaky clean win and it derails the entire momentum that Owens built over the months. This will have some really bad fallout but since we are talking about WWE and Cena, it is a big possibility on Sunday.

Neither Superman nor Kryptonite

A best for business ending

If WWE does not want Cena to lose the match and they don’t want to bury Owens as well, then this is what they should go for. A botched ending where Cena wins via disqualification will protect both superstars. It will also help the WWE to set up a high profile third battle between the two which could happen inside a steel cage or even Hell in a Cell.

The ending could come due to Owens walking away or using some weapons. Walking away, however, will not suit his gimmick so the latter should be apt. Another possibility is interference from an outside character. This could then work as the base for a new John Cena feud. No matter what happens, Owens needs to be protected as he is too hot to be wasted.
