New NXT Tag Team Champions crowned, new champs praised, NXT matches announced

The New NXT Tag Team Champions

– The Mechanics Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson have been knocking on the door of the NXT Tag Team Titles for quite some time now.

They finally achieved what they set out to do at the recent NXT Show – when they defeated the former NXT Champions The Vaudevillians Simon Gotch and Aiden English.

This is the first time they have held any sort of titles in the company. Accolades poured in from all corners as they were widely praised by the likes of Triple H and Edge. Below are the videos of the scenes that happened after the match.

– In other NXT news, The NXT Women’s Champion Bayley is set to defend her title against Alexa Bliss at the next NXT show. Carmella is set to face the ever improving Nia Jax who is related to the Rock. Also, the Ascension are set to face Chad Gable and Jason Jordan.

– Baron Corbin interfered in between the match featuring Apollo Crews and the NXT Champion Finn Balor said cost Apollo Crews his chance for the NXT Title at the recent NXT tapings.

Corbin says in the video that he generally despises Apollo Crews and there is no particular reason behind him, not liking Crews. Corbin went a step further and challenged Crews for a match at NXT Takeover London. He had this to say about the whole thing.

– Triple H and Edge have heaped huge praises for The Mechanics and their Tag Team Title win. Edge who is one of the most decorated superstar has won many a tag team titles and congratulated Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder on twitter.

Triple H also had some good words to offer to the NXT stars through Instagram.
