WWE News: Adam Rose released by the WWE

Rose was rumored to be on the second list of imminent WWE releases

Embattled WWE Superstar Adam Rose is no longer a part of the WWE after his request to be released was granted today by the company. WWE released this official statement on the matter:

“WWE has granted Adam Rose's request to be released, as of today, May 23, 2016. WWE wishes Rose the best in all his future endeavors.”

Rose was suspended in mid-April for a second Wellness Policy violation. In the midst of his 60-day suspension, Rose was arrested and charged with battery domestic violence and felony tampering with a witness.

The 36-year-old South African wrestler, real name Raymond Leppan, was in a heated argument with his wife, Cassandra, when he grabbed her by the face, pulled her close to him and started screaming at her. When she tried to call the police, he snatched the phone away. Rose was later released on bail but ordered to undergo counseling with a priest.

An unexpected name just challenged Randy Orton RIGHT HERE.
