What's the story?

In a few recent posts on Twitter, Aiden English began his campaign rally, to establish himself as the favorite to become the next WWE United States Champion. English is set to face Xavier Woods in the tournament to crown the new champ and the WWE released a video talking up his chances. You can check them out below.

In case you didn't know...

The WWE released the rest of the United States Championship tournament. The tournament saw Bobby Roode defeat Baron Corbin to advance, the rest of the matches included Jinder Mahal vs. Tye Dillinger which Mahal won, Mojo Rawley vs. Zack Ryder and finally Aiden English vs. Xavier Woods.

The heart of the matter

On Twitter, the pages of WWE and Aiden English released videos, where The Drama King addressed his 'people' and talked up his chances of winning the US title.

Aiden English began by responding to Xavier Woods earlier message regarding their upcoming match in the tournament. English brought up the various things he loves about America and how Xavier Woods, who is a person who thrusts his pelvis in front of children and promotes cereal that could possibly cause 'Cancer' was not a suitable candidate for the US title.

He then continued to promote himself as a candidate of class who would take America to greater heights. In the other video, Eglish addressed his 'people' before 'Rusev Day's' eight-man tag team match at WWE Live Tampa.

He went out on the ramp and talked about how he as the US Champion would do 'great' things and that his title reigns would be 'huge', clearly mocking the current President of the USA, Donald Trump.

While it may be controversial, one thing is clear and that is that Aiden English's campaign rallies have been hilarious.

What's next?

SmackDown Live will continue the US Championship tournament for the title, which was made vacant after Dolph Ziggler left it all in the ring. Aiden English will possibly continue his campaign all the way up until his match with Xavier Woods.

Author's take

Aiden English has become hilariously entertaining ever since he teamed up with Rusev to form Rusev Day. The fact that the WWE Universe is loving his current work and that he is a pretty decent wrestler would make him a great 'candidate' for the US title.
