WWE News: Former WWE Superstar opens up about developments in the company

Rey Mysterio is known for his long stint with WWE

Former WWE superstar Rey Mysterio, who counts three world titles, two Intercontinental titles, four Tag Team titles, and loads of other trophies to his name, recently opened up about the latest developments going on in his former company – reports wrestlinginc.com.

Commenting on WWE’s decision to present RAW in a three hour format, Mysterio said:

"I'm not going to hate, I was a part of that show. But even when I was on it, I couldn't sit back and watch a show for three hours. When I was on the road with WWE, I'd come home and the last thing I'd want to hear about is wrestling. That was a no-no in the house”

Discussing his former foe Alberto Del Rio, Mysterio stated that he would be his first choice for the title of Heavyweight Champion. Mysterio also labeled his rival as a ‘world class athlete’, while lauding his experience in wrestling as well as MMA, along with his language skills– stating that he has the qualities of a superstar.

Despite leaving the franchise a year ago, Mysterio still holds his former employers in the highest regard, which is a feeling that’s reciprocated by WWE.
