Ryback arrived to the WWE via Tough Enough in the same season which the Miz won. Ryback made a statement on the main roster after appearing in his Ryback character after his first character with the Nexus had failed. Ryback who has won the Intercontinental Title was in a feud with Kalisto for the US Championship at WrestleMania which he lost.
Ryback has openly stated in various interviews that he is not quite sure about his future. Ryback recently burst out about the payment scheme of the WWE. Ryback, who is negotiating a new contract, spoke about equal pay for the wrestlers in his recent blog post. This has not gone very well backstage and his future seems to be in a serious doubt. As a result of this friction, all the merchandise of Ryback was recently moved to the ‘Sale’ section by the WWE.
Ryback, who was seen as a potential Main Eventer, never reached the top. He was a good heel but the feud with John Cena derailed his momentum and later he was stuck in the obscurity of mid card. There are doubts about his future as it was reported that Ryback is unhappy with the WWE and his ongoing contract negotiations.
