Right now, it can be taken with a grain of salt and nothing more than a teaser. It was said from the get-go after Wrestlemania that the main reason Maryse was called in, was to be part of the upcoming season of Total Divas, where she will be one of the leading characters along with fellow newcomers Renee Young and Lana.
Therefore, it is unlikely that she will be removed from her on-screen role with The Miz. Rather, it is unlikely she will go off on her own, since it doesn’t seem like she wants to be back to wrestle.
As mentioned, her pairing with The Miz has led to him gain immense praise by the fans who also consider him to be one of the most improved wrestlers of the year, both in terms of character, and in-ring work.
