WWE Payback 2015: 3 Possible endings for Bray Wyatt vs. Ryback match

Ryback will take on the Eater of the Worlds at Payback

Despite having some solid potential, WWE waited till the last minute to make the Bray Wyatt vs. Ryback match official. While on one side it shows the company’s laziness in booking feuds for Payback, on the other, the Ryback – Bray confrontation lets the imagination run wild.

The feud is indeed a big step down for Bray from what he was doing a couple of months back. Ryback, meanwhile, will probably see this as a platform to prove his haters wrong. To be frank, this match will be incredibly hard for WWE to book as far as the in-ring action goes but the ending part is not a big headache at all. So here is a look at the possible climaxes that this match could have at Payback.

The reunion

Will they join hands once again?

Erick Rowan and Luke Harper are officially back together and the fans would love to see the entire family reuniting soon. In the Ryback vs. Bray match, there is a certain need for the company to protect both superstars, so letting the Wyatt family reunite at the expense of a straight result is probably the best climax for the match.

Harper and Rowan could come out towards the end of the match and take out Ryback. This would give The Big Guy a win via disqualification while Bray remains protected as well. Along with this, WWE will have a great stable back together in their roster.

Both superstars get knocked out

Bray observing his opponent from ringside

This is the next best option if WWE does not have plans of reuniting the Wyatt Family. They have used this technique for many of the high profile feuds in the past and it will work perfectly for this match also. The lack of match stipulation drastically reduces the brutality in which both superstars could be knocked out, but the Spanish announce table is always there right?

It would take the intensity of the feud to a different level and WWE will have a subplot for Money in the Bank pay-per-view if they are planning to put these two in the Ladder match. Or they could easily settle the score at Elimination chamber as well.

Bray gets it clean

A win would be a big boost coming from the back of a loss against The Undertaker

Thanks to the cold response they are getting from the WWE fans, the creative team might bury this feud at Payback itself. With Money in the Bank just around the corner, WWE will have no trouble investing both Bray and Ryback into the briefcase scenario.

A win would give Bray some much-needed momentum after his lost against Undertaker and will set him up good for the next feud WWE has planned for him. Ryback, on the other hand, will get buried for the time being, but WWE is unlikely to give him a clean win against Bray. Yes, it is a bit unfair to Ryback but with the situation we have, Bray is more important for the company than Ryback.
