According to reports, a possible babyface turn for the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins has been on the cards with a possible cash-in from MITB briefcase holder Sheamus.
It has been rumoured that Sheamus would help Seth make that turn but Vince McMahon feels it still isn’t the right time for Seth to turn face. This is one of the reasons why the Seth vs Triple H Feud hasn’t been tapped into yet.
The supposed idea on the cards was for Sheamus to cash in his MITB contract on Rollins and then align with The Authority. That would automatically result in a face turn for Rollins. It would likely be that Sheamus would then have a run with the title until WrestleMania 32 season.
He would be on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s side and would have a title reign up until WrestleMania 32 season, which may be an issue.
