WWE RAW 3rd February 2014 - 5 conclusions from the show

Following the most intense week in years, the WWE management is sure left searching for options to control the unrest. But this RAW ended just like any other RAW, with a few shining points. For one, Wyatts and the Shield are finally going to war. Apart from that scroll down for other developments for this week.

5. The Authority in damage control mode

WWE gave the quickest crash course in damage control when they tried to fade away the CM Punk chants.

Triple H and Stephanie gave Daniel Bryan an opportunity to be the ‘face of the company’ if he defeats Orton in the main event. That replaced the CM Punk chants with the Yes Chants. Smooth!

But that was quite temporary.

4. Bray Wyatt Promos vs. Dean Ambrose Promos equals GOLD!

The one of many things that differentiates the Wyatt Family and The Shield is that Bray Wyatt gets to speak for an entirety or sometimes a chunk of a typical Wyatt Family promo whereas all 3 members of the Shield have a say.

But Dean Ambrose’s eerie deviousness always stands out.

The way he began his promo on the titantron following the Wyatts’ match was awesome. And the other members followed suit.

This made the feud a definite must- see for the coming weeks.

3. It’s only fitting for Batista to turn heel

It is never easy to turn the boos into yays!

Batista has already been imprinted as the guy who the fans did not want to see winning the Rumble.

He is going to face Del Rio at the Chamber and obviously will come out victorious. But for him to be compelling, he needs to heel.

And for that, he needs to have a great babyface face him. Daniel Bryan, anyone?

2. The CM Punk chants won’t die down

Yes, the Authority temporarily replaced the CM Punk chants which still made their way in between several moments on RAW.

Even during Daniel Bryan’s match. One of their shows will take place in Chicago in a few weeks.

It’s only apt to say that Punk’s absence will haunt the WWE.

1. The Authority is still anti-Bryan

Bryan won his umpteenth match against Randy Orton and for the umpteenth time Bryan was assaulted after that match.

This time his former teammate Kane was the perpetrator. The question is- Is this repetition of actions worth it?
