WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar to face The Rock?

If it’s true, this will be big game indeed, for the Beast

Brock Lesnar’s often referred to as the kind of athlete you see once in a lifetime and his current run in the WWE reflects a part of that statement. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes a handful of appearances in exchange for being amongst the top two or three highest paid performers on the roster.

The feud that germinated with the Wyatts which held M. Night Shyamalan-esque suspense was expeditiously shifted to fit in an undefined angle with Dean Ambrose; one that Vince himself thought was a massive misuse of Lesnar’s star power.

We hear tell every now and then that the Lesnar-Wyatts program is still in the pipeline and will be unveiled around SummerSlam. According to dailywrestlingnews.com, Mr. McMahon has already started drawing up sketches for WrestleMania 33, and he’s bent on pitting the Beast against a Superstar no less than The Rock.

This isn’t the first time a Rock versus Brock match at WrestleMania has been targetted, but considering the size of Lesnar’s contract, Vince is determined to make it materialize next year in Orlando.

There is no official information on Brock Lesnar’s next appearance, but Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that he will feature in a live event in Hawaii sometime in June.
