This afternoon Florent Malouda has revealed that he is to train for the remainder of the season with Chelsea‘s U21′s and confirming that unless he leaves, he will take no further part in Di Matteo’s plans for the season.
He confirmed the news a short time ago on Twitter as below:
I have to say his “tweet” will not impress the Chelsea management at all but I guess you can understand his frustrations.
The thing is, I think we all expected him to leave the club during this window but for some reason it never happened. I don’t see why the club just doesn’t release him now.
Malouda has been great for us in fits and starts but has obviously made it clear to RDM before the season started that he wanted to leave.
Credit RDM for taking steps to ensure there isn’t any disruption amongst the players who DO feature in his plans.
